It was 2015 and I was in the car coming home from my 5th uterine surgery. After multiple miscarriages, endometriosis, uterine adhesions, and an autoimmune diagnosis, I was hopeless to ever become a mother.

Jimmy Eat World blared on the radio,
“It just takes some time
Little girl, you’re in the middle of the ride
Everything, everything’ll be just fine
Everything, everything’ll be alright, alright”

And I cried, and cried.

This morning in late January 2023, I was driving my two little boys to school, laughing and singing with them. Before long, Jimmy Eat World blared on the radio.
“ It just takes some time
Little girl, you’re in the middle of the ride
Everything, everything’ll be just fine
Everything, everything’ll be alright, alright.”

And I cried again… This time tears of joy and gratefulness.

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but -

You’re in the middle of the ride.

Don’t give up hope.
Everything will be just fine.
Everything will be alright
